This is resolved by turning off and restarting. I like that it has both a back feeder and a flatbed scanner.

Great so far for a beginner artist. About the size of a file folder label.

Photo printing is very good, though slow on best photo mode. The (slightly) higher upfront cost of this printer paid for itself within 2-3 months.

Cons

Used ink is drained into a thin, maybe a 1/4 inch foam sponge at the base of the printer. If this sponge fills your printer stops working. One minute it prints from the tray, the next from the rear tray.

The 2 line black and white display is near impossible to use or understand, and installing software to set up the most basic printer is beyond unnecessary given how unsophisticated this product is. Printing from any other app is awful, especially if y... Read More

It offers great value for money, and i really love this printer.

I can't think of any reason why a page feeder would be a necessity for a home printer, so save yourself some money and space.

75oz of black ink, $11 for the 70ml of color ink.

Replacement ink from canon on amazon seems extremely reasonably priced ($17 for 170ml / 5.

Packaging/appearance

Suggestions that envelopes and photo paper would be put in the cassette seemed ridiculous for my needs.
