Likely repairable but that's costlier than replacement; this 7020 is by far the quietest printer i've had.

It's a very nice unit, prints, scans, copies, nicely packaged.
Competitiveness
The printer works surprisingly well, certainly compared to my old hp 3600 series, and is relatively quite.
I hope it lives longer than other pixmas i've owned - two 2525; 3120, 3420,etc.

Connecting to the printer via mobile pixel 7 for some reason took a really long time

Seems like a good purchase but many movable parts are made of thin plastic not sure how it will hold out over the long haul

Being a long time user of canon printers i do show a bias ive found canon to produce good printing results until the printer craps out

Only draw back is that it turns off quickly and being that its not close to the computer we have to get up and turn back on all the time
