Pros

Any copper is now a scanner, just as every copier is a printer. This printer works beautifully with my iphone although it does print very slowly.

I'm not sure yet about longevity but hopefully it is a good ink saver because ink is not cheap! Amazing printer for the price. Only ding is price of name brand ink, as is hp and the others.

Cons

Canon needs to provide better technical specifications. Calling tech or emailing tech support is a nightmare. It's very frustrating.

While print quality is good and it is easy to connect via wireless it has very limited range of connectivity making it tough to use it as a networked printer. It also needs regular resetting of modes to print and uses a lot of ink. Will never buy a ca... Read More

The bottom loader crumbles paper. The paper tray at the bottom is flimsy.

The quality is good (not laser printer quality, but i didn't expect that).

Scan function could be improved but not complaining about the quality.

Unfortunately, the seller didn't package it in an external box and rather shipped it in it's canon packaging.
