Print quality is amazing, scan quality is great.
Great printer, excellent photo quality, real lab quality printer, has duplex, prints from all bluetooth and wifi cellular phones.
But overall good quality in both b&w and color printing.
Price
Especially at the price i paied last week :).
Competitiveness
Seems a bit flimsier than previous models, but if handled carefully should be ok in that respect.

As for print speeds well when you first start to print something the printer just sits there making a bunch of noises before the first page feeds out
