Pros & Cons
Pros
Is stm is the least expensive and smallest ultra wide zoom available for aps-c. There is very little distortion when fully wide. It really opened up my options when photographing big buildings close up, or interiors.
Highlights
Quality
Great both for landscape and closeup photography.
This is great for taking pictures in tight spaces where you need a wide angle.
The lens actually collapses down for travel and extends for the10-18 mm zoom.
Too bad i can’t say the same for the heavy vignette on every corner.
Price
All in all and excellent little ultra wide zoom for the price.
Competitiveness
One more step to deal with and another purposely added “feature” to make you prefer the more expensive pro lenses.
