Pros
The rp takes amazingly noise-free images even up to iso 6400. Hand held or on a tripod, this lens delivers. At a fraction the cost of the f4 version, this is a no-nonsense budget zoom.

Decided to use it as a light weight walking-around lens and have been very impressed with the photos it delivers.
This is a good to very good quality kit lens over all.
Even when shooting at 24mm and f4, i can't see any quality differences in the images taken with the three lenses.

I also have the rf24105f4 version of this lens and that is somewhat better overall but there are places where the edge sharpness on that lens is not as good as this cheap kit lens

The lens image stabilization is good but not great on an unstabilized body

I am used to the excellent stability and m43 bodies so pretty much all the ff gear i have is a disappointment in that regard

No i wouldnt use it on a 30 plus megapixel camera as a regular lens but on an entry level r series its fine for casual needs
