The dye-sublimation technology produces vibrant and true-to-life colors. The printing speed is commendable. Every photo comes out with vibrant colors and sharp details.

Canon selphy cp1500 also impresses with its cost efficiency. The semi gloss/matte finish is a cool feature, though i think the semi gloss is about as far as you wanna push it.

The compact design of the selphy cp1500 is a game-changer. It's definitely noticeable when they fill the whole thing. This upgrade is a major improvement.

Cons

This printer seems to be ridden with issues that its predecessor didn't have. Cleaning with an alcohol moistened towel and brush and compressed air of the inner rollers does not help.

Cannot print 4x6. Only option is japanese postcard. Troubleshooting tells me that it requires custom paper slightly smaller than 4x6.
