Pros & Cons
Pros
Gluten-free products are often difficult. This is my favoritr but unfortunately it has eggs so it's not vegan. My grandaughter has celiac and i do too.
It's pricey, so i have to ration it out, but i will keep purchasing it. It is a bummer it is so expensive but i understand it has good ingredients too. While a little pricey, this is so worth it.
Slices are nice & wide and thick. Makes great sandwiches, paninis and toast. Also makes the very best grilled sandwiches. Perfect at lunch, not soggy.
Texture, flavor and durability of canyon bakehouse much more than udi's. Great taste and texture. Toasts up really well.
The heritage style honey white bread is hearty and tasty. My grandkids don't know the difference when they visit and i make them sandwiches. The bread size is close to normal sandwich size and so fluffy in comparison to others!
Highlights
Quality
Doesn’t crumble or fall apart like some gf breads do, holds up nicely
Toasts, grills, or room temperature has a great texture.
Too many gluten free breads yield tiny, crumbly slices.
I have a white rice and gluten allergy and this is made with brown rice.
Price
While a little pricey, this is so worth it.
Spending $10 for a loaf of bread is crazy.
Here on amazon 6 loaves are $77 bucks with prime.
Very pricey if you eat much bread.
Shipping
Getting it shipped saved me time and money testing other breads he may or may not enjoy.
Packaging/appearance
I’m so happy they brought out the packaging so i could take a picture of it and buy six loafs online.
This seller packaged it properly so it arrived in good shape, and it tastes great.
After the restaurant manager came out and showed me the packaging, was i in shock that this was gluten-free bread.
Freezes well for up to a week in original packaging.
Competitiveness
I have tried a number of gluten free breads and this one has better taste and texture than the rest.
I will no longer purchase other brands - i’m strictly a canyon bakehouse girl now!
People who buy gf bread are looking for a healthy alternative to regular bread and putting canola oil in it is not ideal.
The bread size is close to normal sandwich size and so fluffy in comparison to others!
