Pros

I assume they did that in order to help secure the clamp.

Good value even with inaccuracies. Very durable item. I have zero complaints this set is perfect.

Cons

This is just pure negligence and waiting for a lawsuit to happen. There is thick sharp paint that is peeling off. The bars bearings are full of rust.

Almost $1 a pound. Do not buy this barbell. Shame on me for getting a good deal. This is a cheaper made product.

Good quality so far, and works well for my basement.

These are good, old school weights and have been a true blessing allowing me to keep lifting during shut down.

The weights are nice but the bar was crap just awful

I went back on the page tonight and saw that this same set has increased to over $900!

Shipping

Shipping went well and it was all packaged in manageable boxes.

I immediatly contacted the seller and i received a brand new bar within about 10 days.

I received an email stating they were shipping a new one, today it arrived.

My barbell was bent when arrived, they promptly shipped me a brand new one.

Packaging/appearance

Everything came perfectly wrapped in plastic and boxes delivered on a wooden pallet without a scratch in sight.

One thing i didn't like is that the barbell didn't come in a box or anything and was just sort of taped to a pallet.

A 45lb came broken so if it can be replaced i'd be thrilled.

Competitiveness

I dont see reasons to get any other type of weights unless you are in competition or have specifics to follow.
