They look and feel like a durable high quality product that hopefully should last a very long time. Solid and sturdy. Copper grip is good.

I also have the 5 - 25 lb set and the ratcheting system on this 10 - 55 lb feels a lot stronger. Design precludes accidental drop outs. For the price, i believe this is the best adjustable set to get.

First and foremost, the contoured full rotation handle adds a level of comfort to my workouts. It allows for a natural grip and minimizes strain on my wrists.

Cons

Once this piece breaks off, the dumbbell is no longer adjustable.

If, at an angle, an unengaged plate could be 'pinched' between engaged plates and unintentionally pulled out.

It also saves on dishing out more $$$ for individual dumbells.

For the low price, this is a bargain for those who want to measure their progress for weight lifting.

Price was great if bought during promotion.
