Pros

Good barbell for lighter weight lifters in small spaces. Fit my marcey workout station perfectly. Not a power lifter, so i have no concerns about whether the barbell will bend if i lift 500 lbs.

Sleeves are 11. Inches long. It does what it's supposed to, load weight. Perfect size for me.

It is thicker too. Has very good knurling for the grip. It doesn't really affect my weight training, especially since i have gloves on.

Cons

Cap's quality control on their knurling is sorely lacking. Possibly a victim of international shipping and no stateside qc. Also missing one of two rubber rings.

The sleeve to sleeve width of the bar is 48. This means you'll have a frustrating time rerack it properly on a standard rack. Despite clearly stating in the listing that this is a threaded barbell, it is not.

Seems sturdy, i've been using it for about a month and have had no pieces flake or crack.

This bar is sturdy and fits all my standard (1") plates.

Edit: i’ve now placed 395lbs on this (411lbs including the bar itself) and deadlifted at that weight without it breaking multiple times.

Price

The price for this bar is great, i’m happy with the purchase.

Super happy to find a barbell at a reasonable price.

For under $50, i’m more than satisfied.

This bar is great for it bang for buck value.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging that it showed up in was thrashed and did not cover the whole bar.

Also wanted to add that packaging was top notch.

Packaging could have been better as the tube it came in was damaged, but there was no damage to the bar itself.

Competitiveness

I always wonder if they are just competitors leaving a bad review

Some bars in this price range are multi-piece and have a much lower maximum weight than the 250lbs this will hold.
