Quality
So i decided to take a chance with the yellow.
It’s not top quality but it’s def good enough for my little home gym.
But this was only a problem with the 15lb.
At least not with the size of dumbbells i use.
Price
Exactly what i was looking for at a decent price!
I was skeptical of this based on price.
I see now that the price fluctuates dramatically.
This is exactly what i needed, at an affordable price.
Packaging/appearance
I put a felt pad underneath the stand to prevent damage to my hardwood.
Competitiveness
The stand is sturdy and groove is able to accomodate various types of dumbells (neoprene/cast iron) with no problem.
I love this design, very small at base, holds all our dumbells without the space needed for a horizontal rack.
Added a dab of threadlocker, better washers and no prob.

However if youre attempting to use heavier weights when you try to set the dumbbell into the rack youll immediately notice that the sides of the rack are not wide enough to accommodate all 4 fingers and it is very easy to get pinched between the rack and the dumbbell or otherwise injured as you try to juggle the dumbbell into the rack with 3 fingers

It seems to me that this could be rectified if the manufacturer simply flared the sides out slightly and adjusted the base and top to the corresponding angle

Minus one star for finger pinching design

After 2 days of use the thing was loose and wobbly

It was difficult to put together because the nuts and bolts did not screw together well

I had to use a needle nose pliers to hold onto the nut and then screw in with the wrench using a lot of force but it eventually worked
