I use it for shrugs and squats with two 45lb plates on each side.

It’s pretty well made for the price, i’d rather sturdy and have had 3 45lb plates on each side without any issue.

Anyone who buys a $70 hex bar expecting to do strongman competition workouts should blame themselves for their disappointment.

Capacity: i'm not training for competition or beefiness, but i see no issue with getting six plates up to around 220 or 240#.
