Pros

This meets the needs to what i wanted. It's solid as a rock. Some of the welding isn't the best but hopefully it'll hold up over time.

The trap bar is lighter than a 7 foot barbell so you have to adjust your weight additions to compensate. It works great and is easy to load, albeit with a different range of motion needed since your hands are in different locations.

The bar comes with two, thick rubber spacers to space the weight plate away from the handle. The spacers are about the same size and thickness as a typical chrome-plated lock collar. If the plates bump your hands load up a few 5's or 10's before you s... Read More

Cons

The bar is not designed to accommodate both bumper or cast iron plates. The plate loading pegs bend toward the ground pretty bad. The bar doesn't fit all of my bumper plates due to this.

Good quality, seems sturdy and easy to assemble

I have had this hex trap bar for a few weeks now, and i am very pleased with it.

However, for the price at home i gave it 5.

Price

Definitely worth a look and a great price too.

However, if full price i would not recommend.

But that’s the price for easy loading.

Overall it gets the job done, but at full price i’d look elsewhere.

Packaging/appearance

The only fix will be to sand down the powdercoating.

Looks great put together and was packaged great but paint still scratched up in packaging
