Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Even when it's not bolted down, it manages my 200lbs without problems. The squat rack only weighs around 55lbs and is easy to move around. Has the nice bar holder and weight stack area.

The fm-905q rack is modular and can be upgraded with additional kits. This rack is great for me, but i knew my limitations when searching for one.

It is helpful to have your own socket wrench to assemble with. It is sturdy.

Cons

The rubber strip on top was put on so carelessly and is crooked. Unfortunately there is a messy weld that protrudes on the inside and prevents the support from locating in an upright position. The weight holders specifically are very bent and scratch ...  Read More

The seller only sent one allen wrench. The locknuts have the worst threading. Half of the alan head bolts are not cut correctly and therefore won't even fit the alan key in unless you hammer it in.

Quality

Still no scratches on the product after using it for two years, just shows how well-made this was.

Very sturdy even on carpet with foam tiles, took me about 2 hours to build by myself.

Incline bench, flat bench, decline bench, military press, shrugs, squats it does it all, if you have a good bench this thing is cherry!

The other plate holder initially on the rack is also rendered useless.

Price

Honestly for the price you can’t beat this.

This squat rack is great for the price.

If you dont need or want to buy the supports then maybe the $88 one is for you.

Over priced and most do not delivery to my area.

Shipping

Customer service is also great - i was sent the wrong color bar for the top of the rack and was sent a replacement within a week!

Competitiveness

Apparently you could find much sturdier squat racks from some other brands.
