Pros

Rubber coating on these dumbbells provides a comfortable and secure grip. Perfect for lateral raises and dumbbell wrist extensions. Clean, expected shape, coating smells no more than usual.

If you've ever wanted to get shredded like a cheese grater, these are the weights for you - accept no substitutes. This is the largest 30lb dumbbells that i've ever seen lol. The price is not bad as well.

What truly shines is the exceptional quality they deliver. A remarkable balance between quality and cost. Save some money and buy these, or spend more on rogue if your rich.

Cons

I have no idea how this passes any sort of quality control. There should be a recall and refund. Save your money and buy elsewhere. I merely want a set of cap db to last longer than 2 months.

The odor is indeed quite strong and after using this dumbell for two weeks it hasn't diminshed that much. If you plan on buying one or more pairs then skip this brand because the bargain price isn't worth the annoying odor or breathing in toxic chemic... Read More

Both 50 lb dumbells were delivered in banged up packaging. All my other rubber dumbbells weigh more than the stated weight. The weights themselves are nice quality, but the grips are cheap and poorly manufactured.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was good, double boxed and ups got it here with minimal signs of wear.

One of the 2 dumbells packaging was ripped open but the contents were in good condition.

Competitiveness

I finally was able to lift more than 40-lb dumb bells, so i ordered these.

A good 50lb weight can take a beating.

The only downside in my view is that they have a plasticy smell that just doesn't go away.

My wife and i had a gap in our dumbell weights and we needed some 20's and 25's.
