I am only 5'7 so i have it set to the shortest distance. It's adjustable too and i’m 6’3” and still fits me. My only complaint is that the distance between the top and bottom foam rollers was adjustable.
The chair is not bolted down at all. It comes with an allen key but you must provide a wrench and a socket wrench.
The only thing i don't like it is that it could use more padding. I lay my yoga mat over the rest which solves that problem. Thicker & longer foot cushions too.
Cons
I have zero confidence that they produce quality products. Save your money and just buy a rogue ghd 1 or 2.
The climbing position on this bench is very awkward and it did not hook my feet securely. The foot rest that you would normal press on to keep stable is weak and wooblys. The pads are too straight and not at an angle how they should be.

This is a good product for the cost
Cost was $21 for a pair and so if they work then i'll add this to what this piece of equipment cost me.
I bought this because the price was great.
Packaging/appearance
It was probably already opened and returned since the nuts and bolts packaging was all taped up i'm just glad everything was there.
I also had to add tape around the bar to reduce squeaks and bar wear due to a poor weld in the bar-hold.
Competitiveness
Comparing this to the next lowest priced ghd, the price crushes the competition.
The cap strength roman chair has been a game-changer in my recovery journey after dealing with multiple bulging discs.
What was disappointing is that the connections are a bit looser than it should’ve been.
If i am too worried, i'll consider bolting one end of the machine legs to a 4x8 plywood.

The flat seat style of roman chair isn’t as comfortable as the rounded style of ghd’s and if you’re not positioned perfectly will cause tailbone or lower back stresspain difficult to do at first with a crossfit wod for time

Package was received all torn up like it should’ve been in a much stronger box for the heavy duty metal components

I mean the tolerances leave great enough spaces such that use will be very wobbly unless you get large handled ratchets to actually bend the metal meaning use of a pair of pliers won’t get the job tight enough
