Works well to charge most phones including my nexus 6 however do just be aware that it wont charge usbc based devices because of a current limit switch the phone draws too much power for the charger and stops charging
If you want to charge usbc based devices i recommend the anker 48 watt 4port car charger with poweriq
I have one of those as well and it works great rapidly charging my girlfriends nexus 5x as displayed on the lock screen while simultaneously charging my nexus 6 and leaving room to charge two other devices
Great product works great and is useful in an older car great little 2
