It is extremely affordable,and is powered by the car lighter port and also has a usb port on the charger.

I also did not want to spend $400 on a dash cam, so i'm so glad i found the lumina 1080.

    Ill update this if i can figure out how to fix the issue with motion detection as of right now it doesnt record automatically the red dot doesnt stay on i did follow the directions to try and fix it too

    There is an option for dual recording for a rear facing camera but thats not included too bad my backup camera cant be programmed for that

    I set the camera to record in 5 minute loops it saves everything until it needs to rewrite i have a 16g sd card in and my entire 45 minute drive was on the card when i arrived home you can review video on the cam itself
