Pros
The nektek mount has a very strong magnet and held our phone’s up securely. I swear far too much to give up one of my ac vents, so it was nice to swap my vent clip magnet for this one.
After writing the intial review, i was contacted by nekteck in less than 24 hours. I've purchased 3 others for my family too, everyone asks where i got it. This is the best mount i've had.
Cons
The magnet connection is so strong that when you try to pull your phone off of the stand, you pull the entire stand out of the air vent. The swivel mechanism and locking mechanism to tighten it in place isn’t that great.
This product is not well mademade. It seems like the quality control went downhill from the time i purchased my first product. I like them but they all end with the same broken plastic collar which ends the life.

Our previous car mount’s magnet seemed very week, both our iphone 8’s kept falling off the mount (even with a very slim case).
Used the first for 4 or 5 years before it finally fell apart.

Everything i want for a cheap price.
You can't beat this holder for the price and is a tremendous value.
I got this item because of the discount, so i didn’t do any research on it.

If you have protective case on phone you have to grab the phone from behind and lift it on an angle otherwise the magnet will pull off the covercase from phone

Then i recently noticed that it wasn’t holding onto the vent anymore and i also noticed that the metal also started to peak through the rubber in the back

Phone doesnt even budge in my car with super hard coil over suspension or in my truck over large bumps

Surprised its not more visible or popular probably because the market for this is saturated with products that are nowhere near as good as this one
