The base to tighten the vent clip is very satisfying with the clicks that come along with tightening and loosening. Clockwise to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen.
Car phone holder big enough to accommodate a samsung note 20 ultra. One thing to consider, i use an iphone 7 plus with a case that adds quite a bit of extra width. A samsung z flip 4 was also used on this mount without any case.

First thing i did when i received this holder was try to secure my phone with its otter box case

The phone was 4 contact arms keeping it in place and not touchingpressing the phone buttons power volume etc

One thing i did not like was the fact that if i were to lower the bottom base then the arms would touch the buttons on the note 20 ultra however that might not be the case for other phonemodels
