At first reading the rules are not too clear but by playing the game you soon pick it up

Great game takes up a little space while playing but packs down small if you want to bring it with you somewhere

Lots of good expansions to go with this but dont add them all at once otherwise the game will go on forever and will get very complicated

Excellent game that the whole family like to play but to get the full gaming experience you will need to invest in a couple of expansion packs particularly inns and cathedrals as this introduces a much better scoring mechanism to the game and a balance that is missing from the base game eg no penalty for incomplete roads and no major incentive to complete cities until inns and cathedrals is introduced

Took a while to learn the scoring but once you know how to play it this is a fantastic game enjoyed by most of our family not for young children i would say simply because its quite complicated
