Pros

The velcro is strong and does not come loose. It fits perfect, but a couple of functional and safety features/improvements would make it a 5-star. His physique is true bulldog. The straps are a bit big but the length is better.

She knows it’s her coat and enjoys wearing it. Our dane really likes going on walks wearing her jacket.

It is well made in the typical carhartt duck material. Nicely stiched. The shipping took longer than expected.

The l fit our 53lb beefcake boy perfectly. He's about a 25 pound blue heeler and the medium fits him well. Size xl xl fits well and she’s a st.

The only downside for me is the canvas is really stiff, and to wear around the house and curl up for a nap not very comfortable. My bird dog gets cold easily even in the house in winter, so we can buy an inside coat that is softer for that.

Cons

The girth belt is massive as if it's meant for a larger dog, but the length is not. The velcro fasteners fall apart after a short time and then they are worthless. The lining is flimsy and offers no protection from the elements.

This is made out of the same canvas used for carhartt jackets.

Beware that these jackets shrink in the dryer so don't wash and dry if you want it to maintain it's original size.

It’s very much worth every penny as it will probably be the only jacket you will need to purchase.

Price was right, and these are constructed of long lasting material.
