She hasn’t worn it in a heavy soaking rain yet so i can’t comment on the waterproofing but considering everything else i’d be willing to bet it’s pretty good

Velcro is pretty wide so there’s room for growth

If they upgrade to buckle it will be the perfect jacket as now these jackets need to fall off due to the velcros effectiveness overtime
