From what i read of the reviews it sounded like they run small but he is roughly a 38 so i ordered the 40 and they are way too big

I gave these a poor review stating deteriorated quality then my husband pointed out that the shorts he had been getting were the 12 oz duck material and not these at all 7

So if you are looking for the heavy duty shorts save yourself some time and humiliation and do a search for carhartt duck

I like the 13 inseam my knees are below the hem like shown in the pictures
