Pros & Cons
Pros
Carhart field pants are very good field pants and have the excellent carhartt quality. Great with glue and just general dust and solvent reaction. They are the first brush pants i have owned and they were worth every penny.
For me these pants fit like they were tailor made. They seem to fit just slightly tight as opposed to oversized. The slight bit of stretch/flex is also great as they give you a little more comfort.
These pants handle blackberry briar like a champ. In arizona everything out here has stickers or thorns and these pants do not protect at all that is the only downside to these pants.
Bought the 32/32's im a 32-33 waist and a 32 inseam. Need to order up a size in waist. I'm a 33 waist and ordered 34, they fit just right, hoping they don't shrink.
Cons
Cheap, thin, silk like material that tore and then frayed badly, on lite briers the 1st time out in the field. Will never protect your legs in thick red briars. Buy something else.

The length and quality is what you would expect but maybe get a little bigger waist than you normally would.
Bought the 32/32's im a 32-33 waist and a 32 inseam.
Packaging/appearance
These pants are great for pheasant hunting in the midwest and plains states and for grouse in the northwoods.
Competitiveness
Much lighter and more flexible than traditional carhartt canvas.
Best brush pants i’ve ever owned, way better than cabela’s.
These pants handle blackberry briar like a champ, but they don't do so well against multiflora rose.
