Pros

The hood is a godsend when it's cold, windy, and rainy. Otherwise, an excellent garment. It’s still just a touch big in the chest but with a hoodie on it good. Good for layering.

Cons

The jacket is stiff as a board and runs extremely to small! It has the rough outside material that feels like a stab proof coating. This was advertised as thermal lining. Why are the arms super puffy?

My idea is that carhartt kept the price of the active jacket the same but cheapened it and renamed the old (real) aj and bumped the price way up. This seems deceptive to me. Could be real. Which just defeats the purpose of this jacket.

Above 50 i was warm with a just a t-shirt under.

Great jacket, but wanted a 5xl long, did not have, and so wanted 6xl did not have, been waiting over a year for correct size.

In the 30s i wore a light sweater and tshirt underneath.
