I suggest that you get some zip ties to secure the bottom two hooks to the seat track to save a headache

However in reality our dog often likes to stick his head up between the seats and lick our ears or try to get our attention while we’re driving obviously a dog licking your face while you’re driving can not be the most safe on the road

We find that this divider alone is not enough to restrain the dog and do think one should include a “buckle to collar her leash” as well
