Lightweight Fabric
Customers are very pleased with the lightweight fabric of the Carhartt Women's Shoreline Jacket, finding it suitable for everyday use in fall and spring weather. Some customers noted that while it is lighter than some other jackets, it still provides enough substance to wear on its own or with light layering. A few customers mentioned that despite being lightweight, the jacket took up more packing space compared to thinner shell style raincoats.
Waterproof
Customers are highly satisfied with the waterproof feature of the Carhartt Women's Shoreline Jacket, praising its ability to keep them dry in various weather conditions and providing numerous pockets for convenience.
Breathable
Customers are extremely satisfied with the breathability of the Carhartt Women's Shoreline Jacket, praising its high-quality material that moves easily without pulling or restricting movement, and providing ample room for layering. The jacket's numerous pockets, including zippered and interior pockets, are also a major selling point for many buyers.

Thumbholes
Customers have mixed opinions on Carhartt Women's Shoreline Jacket's thumbholes feature. Some find it useful for keeping their hands warm, while others prefer not to use it and consider the jacket sleeves as normal. The jacket offers multiple pockets that are big enough to hold various items like phones, gloves, and even checkbooks.
Highlights
Quality
Quality zippers and snaps, drop bottom in back!
It is extremely durable and stood up to wind, rain, mud with no issues.
The issue with the hood is that it doesn't cover (or even begin to cover) your forehead and is only adjustable with snaps.
If you don't want to use the thumb hole, just pull your thumb out and it acts like a normal sleeve cuff.
Price
This was on sale and i am so glad i got it working as a mail carrier for cold days in colorado.
Can’t do too heavy for horse riding and i couldn’t find an affordable duck coat anywhere for women.
Packaging/appearance
I did not find it heavy or bulky, but compared to my husband's thinner shell style raincoat it definitely took up more packing space.
Competitiveness
More expensive than other brands, but will last forever.
It makes all my other rain jackets seem pitiful in comparison.
