Taste And Texture
Customers have overwhelmingly positive opinions about the taste and texture of the Carob Powder from NOW Foods. They describe it as having a rich, nutty, and delicious flavor that is often compared to chocolate. Some customers appreciate its ability to be used as a substitute for cocoa powder in various recipes, including smoothies, pudding, brownies, and fudge. A few customers have noted that the carob powder has a great smell and is priced reasonably well. However, some customers have mentioned that it does not taste exactly like chocolate but still find it agreeable.
Highlights
Quality
It is of a super quality, tastes ver good.
This is the best tasting carob powder i have tried.
One thing i noticed about this brand is that it has very little lumps and clumps.
I needed something to replace cocoa powder due to it's high oxalate content.
Price
Has a great smell and flavor, and is an agreeable price.
I am satisfied with this brand, though they seem a little higher priced.
Shipping
Took a while to arrive, but that's fine.
The carob powder came earlier than i expected.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging for the carob powder is nice and it also came on time!
Competitiveness
Delicious, and not as sweet as other brands.
I can't say much on if this particular brand is better than others, since this is the first brand i've tried.
I like it better than chatfield’s or bob’s red mill.
Most other brands are processed in facilities that also process soy etc.
