Sad such a nice product is so defective. The item description is misleading.
The bakelite handles scorches and burns. The pour spout is absolutely worthless. The inside granite coating of the pot is rough or textured.

All things considered, these are solid, low cost cookware that won't have the durability as mid to upper tier cookware.
Competitiveness
I am a fan of carote cookware and i highly recommend the saucepan; it is perfectly sized and is very easy to clean.
The ease of cleaning makes carote cookware the best i have used.

I started off with a set that only had one pot a dutch oven 2 frying pans and lids

The pour spout only works if lid is on pan otherwise the contents spill out both through and around the spout

The downside is that after two months there are some faint scratches on the sides of a couple potspans and there is one area where coating is rubbing off on one pot where the lid sits

We contacted carote and theyre sending us a replacement pot so the customer service has been great another positive
