I found that disappointing because a friend has a set from a different brand and the handles on her lids fold flat when not needed.
Overall, i think carote has made another nice set of nonstick pans!

The thing that does worry me about these sorts of pans though isnt the durability of the pan rather the durability of the detachable handle

I get a firm attachment when locked in and it comes off easily with a single sliding tab

The set also comes with some other accessories like neat silicone mats and then the knobs which you strangely do have to screw in with a screwdriver

Im of the group that will screw it and never bother unscrewing it sadly but i do understand the lengths people will go to save space and pack things up

I even made the mistake of turning up my tomato soup a little too high and not checking it soon enough and it was boiling away and in my normal pan it wouldve been ruined with a burned scorched patch of soup stuck to the bottom but with this a simple stir nothing was stuck and no burnt bits
