Pros & Cons
Pros
Enamel finish is super easy to clean, even with burnt-on stew and other food. Cleaned easily, heavy but sturdy, just don't forget kitchen mitts for the knob on top. It cleans up nicely too.
Build quality is top notch, and it looks beautiful. This one is the closest to oem that i have seen.
This dutch oven totally compensates for the shortcomings of my stove. Metal – the thickness of this pot is surprisingly similar to the lc. This dutch oven is great for a 3-4 pound roast.
The metal is thinner than some, and heats up pretty fast. The taste of the food is richer and has more flavour.
This is a heavy and large crock that will hold a good size roast, with the fixings. It's a quart smaller than my other one which is really nice.
Cons
There is a hair embedded in the inside bottom of the pot. The enamel is also uneven and rough around the edge of the lid. There are a few discolored spots inside the pot, and a bump on the side of the wall.
Highlights
Quality
The built in handles on the sides are very sturdy making is very easy to pick up.
Made the best pot roast i’ve ever made in it!
There is no thermal insulation neither on the lid’s knob nor on the small handles on the pot.
It's completely different than cooking in a regular pan and regulates temperature so much better.
Price
This one is an excellent value for the price.
This is a great pot for the price.
We’ve been looking for a dutch oven for a while but were put off by the ridiculous prices of some of the name brands.
It seems way more expensive than it is.
Packaging/appearance
The pot was packaged well with no scratched and well insulated so to avoid damage or scratches.
Very attentively packaged, well protected for shipping.
They don’t pack it with a bunch of extra packaging and leave you with a room full of stuff.
It came in a cardboard box labeled "heavy" which had another cardboard box inside, which had the product box inside that, which... Read More
Competitiveness
Considering how much less it cost than the name brand, i think it’s pretty great!
Just as good as the big brands.
I can't imagine what the difference is between this and a $300 le creuset.
The navy blue pot is more expensive than the white one, which i really don’t understand why, but i’ve been shopping around for ... Read More
