Pros

These are not heavy like cast iron, yet are able to sear a steak just fine. The pots seam to be holding up nicely. The silicon utensils are a bonus.

Carote pan set for the small fry pan and grill pan. These pans also do a great job sautéing vegetables and making omelettes. I like them but wish the coating in the pans held up better for ever day use.

Cons

Definitely would not recommend purchasing. Not the type of customer service one typically receives from amazon sellers. I regret buying these, they aren't practical.

They have scorch marks if you have leave the heat at medium! Only silicone or wooden utensils. And the deeper ones has gashes in the bottom.

All handles of the fry/sauté pans are loose. One of the lids was damaged and bent to the pots and pans the coating on the outside is chipped. It seems like it is made for the smallest frying pan, the 9.

The beautiful almond interiors and exteriors look like they are 10 yrs old. I hope that carote refunds or replaces these 2 pans.

For the price the pots/pans work well but i have a gas stove and the bottom of the pans have black soot after cooking.

I responded and the very next day they sent the tracking info for my replacement.

Someone got rid of a box and it looked very clean.

Competitiveness

They're lightweight in comparison w/many other brands.

That said, the heat distribution across the cookware is much better than my previous cookware.

The high heat is the medium for all the other brands i have bought in my life.
