The silica gel material has a soft and slightly grippy feel that i prefer to the hard, smooth plastic of the macbook air keyboard. As an added benefit, a keyboard cover naturally mutes some of the clickety clicks.

This is just what i needed. It’s an absolute must have! This keyboard cover is really good. This one works fine.

Clear mat with black keys. Also, if your keys tend to show fingerprints and you don’t like that, a cover is a good solution. Spaces around each key are actually used for laptop ventilation and cooling.

The right side of the cover puckers and the plastic does not actually stay in contact with the keyboard keys. The outline for each key is too stiff, leading to many missed keys or typos. The texture of thecover slows down my keyboarding.
