Take your time putting it on and be careful peeling it off the sticker where the thin parts are

You just need to make sure you position it in the air as close to the laptop surface as possible without it actually sticking until you have it hovering over exactly where you want to place it

On my older macbook there were stains that could not be removed after a year or two from my hands wresting

I adjusted the big portion maybe twice and of course you have to be careful with the corners and not barbaric

I adjusted it until it was perfect and the same goes with the track pad

The pad is hard to symmetrically align so i used the sticker the actual thin piece to help me get a perfect 116 gap all around
