    I recently bought a keyboard cover for an old macbook and its a little thicker and the keys are slightly obscured but with this one that is not an issue at all and the keys feel almost like nothing is there

    It does a good job of protecting the keys on my keyboard and because its clear it doesnt interfere with the backlighting at all either
