Pros

The sound is awesome and so sweet. Bought 10 for our music program. The sound through the built-in speakers is not-so-good, but through my bose headphones it sounds great.

Not quite a steinway, but surprisingly satisfying as a substitute. Action is adjustable and feels similar to a “real” piano. The aesthetic satisfaction of interacting with the piano adds to the pleasure of practicing.

It's very addictive. I like that it's nice and simple, so i can't get distracted. I doubt anyone will be unhappy with it overall.

Cons

Now the keys seem more loose and noisier. Also all the * are touch * not real tactile *.

Sound quality is great, looks great, and feels great.

I am very pleased with the quality of the keyboard action and feel, and the air engine sounds are a delight to play.

The sound quality is pretty good, although i'm underwhelmed by the internal speakers.

For my skill level, i'd probably be just as happy if i'd gone with the roland fp-10/30 or yamaha p-45/71/125.

Price

If you're looking at this piano and the price is in your range, you'll be happy with it too.

Packaging/appearance

The casio px-s1000 arrived in excellent packaging and about a week faster than what i thought.

It is very easy to use right out of the box.

Competitiveness

(while i loved my 75-pound, 27-year-old, yamaha clavinova p-100, i gladly replaced it with this beauty.
