Strap is soft and supple. No flashy bling. Easy to read display. Comfortful rubber strap.

Smooth, seamless, easy transaction. Improved module with a super soft resin band. Resin as soft as gods * cheeks.

Steel inner core, stainless steel screw-on back with dlc finish (diamond like carbon) the steel core is wrapped in an outter shell and band of silicone. It has a stainless steel case with a dlc-coated, screw-in caseback.

Cons

Watch was not encased in an aluminum box. The buckle was not even fastened. The count-down timer was set to a odd value.

I love the utility of this thing and it is so well made.

Still, one star docked for disruption if the 30+ yr old control layout for features, and general frustration i felt i initially.

I'm not aware of any other g-shock that uses this rubber formulationnegatives- the buttons are stiffer to press.

I gave this 4 stars because it is pricey at ~300 bucks.

This is well worth the additional cost above the gw-m5610.

Purchased from amazon partner premium-japan for $275.

You will not get many or any comments from people, looks basically like the $50 version.

My watch was shipped by rai mori of premium japan from tokyo and was in my hands within a span of two days which is extremely impressive.

I do not know how my order arrived from japan to my door so fast.

The seller sent the watch from its source in japan the day after i ordered it.
