Pros

Watch uses radio-controlled callibration to set its time. Auto update and solar recharging are useful additions to the watch. Only thing i can't do is synchronisation with atomic clock. Easy to switch from standard display to timekeeping mode.

The booklet is very detailed, so you can set up whatever you want easily. The digits are slightly smaller but perfectly legible. The auto-illuminator, as good as ever. Well worth the £79.

No sun is no problem, once charged it still works in complete darkness. No time setting/battery issues (for a long time, hopefully) the display is easy to read, the night light is also easy to see in darkness. The separate display of various time zone... Read More

Seiko watch is very comfortable and wears smaller than expected. Inner flap on the arches ensure a very snug fit.

Cons

Screws' on the top of the watch have fallen out - they aren't actually screws at all but tiny little decorative inserts just pushed into the moulding. The result is the loss of functionality as power is saved. They keep returning it saying no problem ... Read More

Very pleased with the g shock watch.

Great looking watch, not noticeably heavy and with the internal wings doesn't move around too much that it becomes annoying.

Having had an earlier version for about 11 years i had a fair idea about the product.

If you want to switch ael on or off, hold down the light button (the one on the face of the watch with the g logo on it) for three seconds.

Price

And the price is unbelievable for what you get.

Once you remove all of the protective packaging you have a relatively lightweight product which you can almost forget you're wearing.

First impressionsas is customary for casio, the packaging for this watch is amazing.

Competitiveness

Also the ruggedness of the g-shock brand so far really pleased!

Everything i could want in a g-shock feels and looks amazing cannot fauly in any way

Then i bought the gw-7900-1er and its at a whole new level compared to the standard g-shock.

Summaryi've worn g-shock watches for the majority of my working life.
