Interval training screen is very interesting - it allows you to set one timer, or many timers to run concurrently with the option to repeat they cycle or just run through once.

The ae1600 is very easy to read everything you need to read on it.
- only one alarm- no ability to swap home-time-zones like the ae1200.
The top part, 10 sec & min times are not something i will ever use.

I bought this watch as a substitute for the casio ae1200 world timer royale which i have been wearing over the past year because i was having a really hard time reading the date specifically the day of the month number

On the ae1200 its too often in the shadow of the bezel unless directly under a light or outside but no one will argue that date text is just really small on the ae1200

The ae1200 has a very retro80s vibe with the world map and the digital analog hometime dial but both of those are hard to readuse at a glance

The info you read all the time occupies the lower 23 of the face with the upper third being for decoration and that 34cool factor34

It begins timing as one would expect showing 2 counters one on top and one below but when you stop it it keeps running in the lower section
