Pros

This is an indention to keep the strap secure against the other end of the strap. My other watches are on nato, resin and leather straps. Works great even overseas.

Tons of functions. Easy to use and very user friendly. Most functions are common sense and can be figured out on the fly.

Casio sturdiness and impact resistant. Lght weight, well built with great functionality. These are great and very durable.

Casio pathfinders are fantastic watches. I love it, it’s comfortable and plenty informative. I see it's why up in price which is also a testament to its quality.

Cons

The watch ceased to work altogether after the 3 year mark. It's not nearly as rugged as i thought it would be. What a piece of junk.

To adjust the compass, you need an actual compass to set the watch. Alarm does not work, backlight is dim and does not stay on long enough. No mater how long i keep the watch in bright light, it quickly reverts to a 'low' power indicator.

Casio is a great watch brand and the quality of this watch lives up to the reputation.

I wanted a good g-shock quality watch but easier to read than some g-shocks so i got this.

If it breaks i will replace it with the exact same model.

The watchband could have been made out of more of a rubber product like on the luminox watches.

The post stated that the watch was unopened and factory new, but that there was outside packaging damage.

I wear it when i don't want to be bothered with a smartwatch.

I bought this for my father-in-law, a retired engineer.

It should help protect it from scratchs.
