The prw-2500 has a titanium band. The band is light years better and more secure with a foldover clasp. The mirrored edges look spectacular. The watch has great functionality.

The timer and stopwatch are handy. Battery is on high and has never fallen below that level. The primary reason i purchased this watch is its atomic timekeeping. Auto light and 3 sec are righteous, as is the solar charging.

Out of the box, the compass is very accurate compared to several other watch compasses. I hike with maps that have contour lines and i simply start at a known altitude, calibrate the watch and the watch is perfectly fine. Always use an analog compass.... Read More

Cons

Light is almost meaningless, providing inadequate illumination. Often don't register the push without several tries. Amazon is quite often wrong about item descriptions and measurements.

Amazon says that the band width is 20 millimeters, but i measured it being at 22mm, using my electronic caliper. I am very disappointed in casio for using such a cheap band on a watch costing $250. That's when my critique went south.
