Pros

I like the watch, but the strap *. Solid wrist presence. Crystal is hard and no scratches after a beating.

Watch collectors need a couple * watches. My only complaint is the second hand missing the indices. I keep my obsolete automatics in my rotation.

Mid-sized with a clear, easily readable face. The canvas is tight and sturdy and the rivets are well made.

Cons

The strap is about as cheap looking and uncomfortable as possible. The tough solar is cheaper and does more than this watch. This video offers nothing relevant to the sale of a mechanical field watch.

That's probably half the reason i returned the dang thing. Poor manufacturer support. Plus, something is wrong when the display for some days of the week shows duplicate days.

I am a big fan of casio solar watches, owning models from cheap plastic digital up to the premium oceanus.

A cheap watch that is much quieter than its timex competitors.

This watch's closest competitor is the citizen bm8180 for around twice the price.
