Pros

The watch has a step counter, but i haven't used it to see how accurate it is. The countdown timer is fine--i use it for cooking. The pedometer is just as accurate as other more well known pedometers.

The band stays securely on my arm. It's something i can wear while being active without worrying about breaking or losing a $300+ watch. And having a step tracker is great cos unlike alot of other pedometers that fall of or you forget to put them on, ...  Read More

Cons

This watch is not durable. The face cracked within a couple of months. The graphic dial in the upper right corner adds no value and to me is useless.

Quality

Lightweight, easy to set and use, easy to glance and see.

It is pretty accurate with steps…and works flawlessly.

What i've been wanting is a regular watch that incorporates a pedometer, doesn't need charging and (most importantly to me) doe...  Read More

My five-year-old gear fit2 finally quit last week, and i bought this watch to replace it.

Price

Great value for the money and very nice looking as well.

I don't need a gps watch that i have to charge every day or an apple watch that cost hundreds of dollars.

This watch does that for a fraction of a price.

For the price, it's a no-brainer; so much functionally in there.

Competitiveness

The pedometer is just as accurate as other more well known pedometers that i have tried.

This casio was my third purchase after the first two brands didn't pan out.

I enlisted two apps on my phone (pacer was one), comparing them with the pedometer on the casio, and got basically the same readings.

I can't say for sure because i don't have another pedometer i trust to compare too, but i'd say it's at least within 10% of not...  Read More

But ive been blown away at the fact that ive used all of those functions in addition to the pedometer many times already from timing the spaghetti to multiple alarms for ebay and reverb

And 3year battery life not 30 hours

    No more recharger every night

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I hope they find a way to implement analog watchhands on the main lcd even without backlighting which would drain the battery horribly

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I still prefer the analog hands and they convey both timeasdistance and timeasnumbers so you get more info with a single glance

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I had fun considering the many options then became a little obsessive

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

What i needed first was something really lightweight because almost any watch begins to feel heavy and make my wrists ache quickly
