Pros & Cons
Pros
The sliding key cover is a 2 piece and works flawlessly. There are times we think his volume is just right and out of nowhere, we are yelling at him to turn it down. The headphone jack makes practice at home around others possible.
Only con is that the audio out when plugged into a home av receiver ( a pretty powerful one) does not amplify the sound any.
Cons
Once you unplug the headphones, the piano seems to think they're still plugged in. At that price casio could really have used some higher quality parts.

Packaging/appearance
The casio privia px780 was bought for teaching my two daughters.
Competitiveness
Replace a 35 year old yamaha clavinova.
Probably the best digital piano for the price.
I then tried my daughters win7 machine.
For the piano we tried a little youtube, bought synthesia, pianoforall, emedia piano and keyboard method and several piano books.
