The hands have a good coating of lume which holds up well in the dark plus theres a light for those times when youre in total darkness and the lume isnt enough

This new watch is upgraded in that it is titanium both case and strap and has almost worldwide radio signal capability which the earlier model had uk and part of europe

Upon receipt it was working but had to make one or two adjustments to the settings to show the correct london bst and turn on auto dst

My only gripe and that applies to my other old waveceptor watch is that my elderly ears cannot detect the alarms signals unless held about 5 inches from my ears so this feature is of no use to me
