I can loosely grasp the handle and have all four fingers still be within the maroon grip area

They are heavy and as someone who wouldn’t be handling them for long periods this is okay

The part that makes me hesitate about these pliers is that i purchased a new pair and the ones i received look like they’ve been used for someone’s project with hardened steel wire or something or the metal of the jaws are not hard enough and have dents in them when new

Attached above are photos of both sides of the inner jaws of the pliers where you can see where the metal has been dented and flared along the edges and even on the flat areas
