Pros

Love the wood, varnish, and solid nature of the bookcase once assembled. Works as a small hallway console for me. Comes with wall brackets to secure to wall studs.

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy and stable.

Cons

These shelves are super poorly crafted. The hardware is a soft metal that is easily stripped by the allen wrench provided. However none of the individual pieces are labeled. No instructions, pegs, or screws.

Don't buy this garbage. It's so difficult to peel. What a letdown all around.

Spotty and inconstant sanding and staining. Edges are no flush, did not cover nail holes, imperfects all over the wood.

We love our new casual home montego 3-shelf bookcase in white.

The color is perfect and matched her fancy pottery barn dresser!

The packing is excellent, so nothing was damaged in transit.

I bought it to match other espresso colored furniture that i have and wanted it to match a picture i was going to hang above it.

Competitiveness

We got similar shelves that were a bit cheaper than these pre-covid, and they're obviously made out of mdf and bow from the book weight.
