A few months in using the no issues at all. The shelves are sturdy, although i did put styrofoam that came with the packaging underneath the bottom shelf since i had really heavy books on those shelves. Would definitely buy again.

The color is nice (espresso, but some red in there with different light) and the feeling is smooth. I am happy that it is solid wood, and it feels very sturdy for how thin and the wood pieces are.

All holes on mine were lined up properly and drilled straight. A phillips screwdriver will be needed for other screws. An allen wrench was included in the assembly material for the large screws.

The finish is inconsistent. There were several nicks in the wood. They are highly visible as the stain is dark & wood underneath is light. No sealer was applied over the wood stain.

The ore unit is solid and well made; this casual home unit, well, not so much. Would not recommend, would not buy casual home products again. The quality of these bookcases is horrible! Please do not waste your time purchasing these bookcase.

Upon un-boxing frame was cracked/dented in more than one place. Thought about returning it but decided to try and salvage it by adding lauan plywood to the back.
